Some Things Are Not Worth Being Happy For

There are many things in this world we should be grateful for, but sometimes some things are just not worth being happy for. There are circumstances in life wherein you`ve had enough lies, deceits and confusion that you no longer know what to believe. There are things you currently can`t ignore but have to endure. Life is full of twists and turns.

There are situations in life wherein you don`t know who you`ll believe. The confusion and tangled information can be really difficult to fix. And often times, the person who knows the answers is someone unbelievable due to the inconsistency of the matching of words and actions. With this, uncertainty in making decisions for your own and other people`s life can be quite complicated.

It`s so hard living with information hanging around yet you still don`t know the facts. The people around you might know a bit of the facts but nothing`s factual unless otherwise stated by the person who truly knows the answers. But mostly, if that person`s very inconsistent with the way actions and words are being presented, ideas and details won`t be verifiable as factual. By this, nothing like a person like me can do but let go of the twisted mind.

Some things are not worth being happy for. Like being disrespected, being slapped by a person`s improper acts, being ultimately less than happy because of an alien or having a disrupted life because of one`s irresponsibility. If that`s how life works, what can I do?

The uncomfortability I feel is high. The tangled mind I have is trying to get a grip of reality. Is this how it should be done? Why can`t some people be a little more sensitive? Or, is it because they`re not facing the obligations of acting properly? Why?

With God`s help, I`ll be protected and strengthened. Some things might not be worth being happy for, but those things shouldn`t make you and I unhappy. They should serve as a motivating force not to be part of the things that are not worth being happy for. They shouldn`t throttle us to misery but instead they should be there to help us be a better person.

Exhausted And Unhappy

During the past few days, my life seems so messed up. It`s as if it`s in a state where it shouldn`t be. I am so exhausted with how things were poorly done in my life. I`m so fed up with the inconsistency of the beautiful things I should be having in life. Everything`s so complicated and confusing that often, I wonder if I`ll ever be even through such horrible times. I am so disgusted with the evil things around me yet I can`t even be as righteous as I can and ought to be. Everything`s tangled up, it`s as if I`m in the middle of a braided war between myself and situations. I often want to be isolated because that way, I`m away from human things. I just want to be whole and new. God, please help me. I am disoriented and melancholy. I am poor in your eyes. Please heal me, Lord. Thank you very much.

Waking Up In The Darkness

“If you falter in a time of trouble, how small is your strength!” – Proverbs 24:10

Earlier as I awoke from a nap, pure blackness enveloped me. Terrified, I blindly sensed the switch for the light. As I skimmed through my senses, my heart pounded for the possibilities of where and how I am in that state and to where that situation will lead my life. Suddenly waking up and finding yourself in nowhere is daunting.

This experience is comparable to life. At times, life feels as if we`re skimming through our feelings and consciousness if we`re even living in reality. If this was just a dream that has been rolling on for long or a fantasy that has been taking actuality in a different world. Opening the eyes after an idle tranquility with obscurities surrounding makes the heart pound with uncertainty. It`s as if things were not obviously mysterious enough that it even made things more inscrutably alarming and frightful.

When I sensed the switch, I turned it on. As the light brought brightness to my anxious soul, I sensed a high level of acknowledgment and appreciativeness. How wonderful it is that I am not blind. I was relieved. The light that calmed my being brought great peace. Just like the words of encouragement, wisdom and hope, they provide a great sense of comfort and care to the seemingly never ending trip and hike to the top of the mountain where judgment lies patiently and properly.

Waking up in the darkness, skimming through to find light until it brightens provided a great story to look back on. It is a small reflection of what one have to go though before he reaches the understanding of what beauty there is to appreciate. As I went back to sleep, despite the questions that troubles, warmth comforted me as I become still and slept the seemingly unimportant conflict away.

“You can`t stop the waves, you can learn to surf.”

Taking Things In A Positive Light

Love and life coexist the way both my brain and heart have to function. It`s not even a question whether one matters most or not. Both are equally important. In life, looking at things in a positive perspective will greatly help in knowing what I truly aspire for.

Acceptance and forgiveness. They are just two words yet have deep meanings. These two are the most common things people tend to overlook. Acceptance of facts, happenings and people is not as easy as one may think. Accepting the unknown to our lives is like giving a step forward in the diving platform. At first try, it may be frightening, but once you have experienced the thrill and elation, you open yourself up for more. Forgiving is not just a part of one`s dramatic act. It`s actually a life-long process. Once a person forgives, there are more actions in the aftermath. It involves a more complex formula. Which is mystery. One has to continue his journey toward the future.

Optimism. Such a powerful character. Hope lingers above.

Good night!

A Day Outside The House

Today is a very exhausting day. I went to the National library and researched for my report. So far, so good. It`s better that I worked instead of procrastinated. This day seemed like a normal one.

Unfortunately, I didn`t have the opportunity to splurge my time in the library. Just searching for the books that I needed took so much time. Nevertheless, the library is extensive. I really liked it. They have a wide variety of books, newspapers, magazines and many more. They also have old and rare things. I was slightly unaware at first that the book that I was intending to borrow was more than 20 years old. I was fortunate enough to find and borrow the book. It was "Orosman at Zafira" of Balagtas (Francisco Baltazar). Earlier before I searched for this book, I searched for articles that was needed for my report. Slightly unaware again, I didn`t notice that the newspapers that was on my search list was over 25 years. Unfortunately, I was able to find only one article. Anyway, I honestly appreciated that the library kept the broadsheets, magazines and others that were published. I even saw a collection of magazines that were published in the 70`s. They had them arranged according to specific ranges of dates. The experience inside the library was thrilling.

I also acquired a small tripod for my camera so I can start filming videos for my new channel in Youtube. The sales lady called it the "Octopus" probably because it looked like it has three tentacles.

When I was heading home, there were some people on the way that was out because of the smoke-like circled around the moon. It looked like as if the moon is perfectly in the middle of the circle. The circle around it also looked flawless in shape. (It can`t be seen on the picture above because it wasn`t as bright as the moon. The circles on the picture other than the moon is probably because of my camera.)

This was a normal day, but I`m grateful that I had it.

Poor Management

Poor management often leads to destruction. Little by little, everything starts to fall. Hard-earned capitals get lost and past efforts get wasted. Living without proper management , plans and order is like running in a race for no reason.

In life, organization of one`s events is necessary to achieve a life filled with appropriateness. Each individual is bound to be in order. Without order, obstacles are harder to overcome, problems are more complicated to solve and successes are more difficult to achieve.

In unfortunate times, a person who`s well put together will have more chances to conquer situations because of well planned ideas. Ideas that can help a person in his personal, physical or financial survival. It can be a matter of falling off a cliff and hanging on the edge of the cliff.

Poor management is the element in slowly destroying one`s priceless possessions. It is the epitome of failure.

Labeling

Recently, another advertisement played first before actually seeing the video that I wanted to watch in Youtube. Gratefully, it`s not just another advertisement endorsing their products. It`s Pantene`s "Labels Against Women." In most advertisements that I see on television and internet, Pantene`s new commercial is one of the most inspiring commercials I have seen. It depicted a very significant social issue we are currently  facing.

Labeling is as terrible as stereotyping. It constricts people into a specific and limited idea that existed with atrocious and delusive judgments. It hinders people to alter a new character or personality because of the existing prejudices. It is the predicament that hunts people`s minds providing skeptical thoughts into showing what one is greatly capable of.

Pantene`s new commercial about labeling women is a great representation of the issues our society have. It`s not a battle between masculines and feminines but it`s how preconceived labeling affects the development of people`s potentials.

At the end, one`s determination and faith will make him shine through.

"Don`t let labels hold you back. Be strong and shine." - Pantene

A Reflective School Day

Today has been quite beneficial. My eyes were able to witness another place.  I was enthralled to take photos in an ordinary community. It`s fascinating and gratifying that in such a place, I was still able to witness the pleasant sky, trees, and soil. In our advancing world today, the image of not being able to see such beauty is frightening. The way the world once saw naturally clear water as ordinary now saw them as an occasional find.

The exquisiteness of simple things like the blooming green and brown colors of the trees are refreshingly peaceful to sense.
Even the uneven yet naturally embossed marks of the tree`s trunk is comforting.
The bright and rich color of the plants are interesting to look at.

And the smooth surfaces of the rocks are nice to touch.

While the surface of the patches and combinations of rocks, soil, and others make the perfect bench.
Moreover, this simple and delicate attribute of nature calms the soul.

Beauty is defined not by the eyes but by the heart.

How about you? How do you appreciate the plain things in life? I would be gratified if you can share your experiences and insights.

Thank you for viewing. May this world change for the better.

Getting Initiation

Life has been quite fair to me. I have been receiving many encouragements to express my inner self through learning. My weary soul has been showing signs of activeness and enthusiasm. The gratefulness inside me is building and pounding.

Recently, additional freedom has been helping me cope up with life`s stressors. Everything seems so nice and happy despite life`s challenges.

The eagerness to express, learn and bloom has been making my heart, soul and mind pop with excitement. The willingness of my being is preparing me for the future`s big battle against my own intuition and will. The commotion inside me is pounding with ideas and imaginations.

I am elated, loved and cared. I am grateful, devoted and enthusiastic to serve and work hard. Life is the mystery book one can`t seem to conclude.

Perceptions About What Love Is

Love is a mystifying perceptivity. It covers most aspects of life. It is a totality of the result of being concerned by the acquired longing for affection, yearning and fondness. It`s the inclination to nature`s call to acquire and provide a sense of peace and serenity through the social`s tendency to long for bond, attachment, affiliation, connection and relationship. The word love is not powerful at all, but the sentiments that come along with the emotions of the elation of love. It`s one of the most wonderful phenomenon that ever existed. It`s a sensation one inevitably aspire for. The true nature of it flows like the brilliancy of the streams of the pure and clear water. It glistens with transparency of beauty. It is like the sounds of chirping birds, or the blowing winds. It`s as peaceful as how a tree breezes. It is welcoming to the ear and pleasant to the eyes. It`s not lust nor self-satisfaction. It is about providing and giving with the purest intentions and care. It is also freedom. Love is not constricted and tight for one has the capabilities to cope and understand. Genuine love is never impatient but specifically steadfast. It`s not forced and pushed because it comes and feels by instances. It`s faithful, true, tolerant and omnipotent. It conquers everything.

Help For Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) Victims

The super typhoon Haiyan also known as Yolanda in the Philippines brought terrible destruction to many provinces and cities in the Philippines. The number of unattached, misplaced, and injured is said to be in millions. The confirmed deaths has also been reported to be about 4,000. In times like this, every small care to the people who have been affected negatively is very much appreciated.

Many local and foreign governments, companies, institutions, and organizations have pledged their donations. Even though, many of them needs the help of the volunteers for the repacking and management of relief goods.

The other day (November 18, 2013), volunteers worked to help repack and arrange the relief goods for the victims of the super typhoon Haiyan at Ateneo De Manila University`s covered courts. The volunteers waited for their turns to help and work in the process of regulating the goods. Even though most of the volunteers waited hours for their turn to help, a lot of them seemed happy to wait, cooperate and work together with other volunteers. The management of repacking and arranging the goods was systematized and orderly. This is the reason why many volunteers even waited for their turns to work. There, they aimed for finishing 80,000 repacked relief goods. At the time, the finished goods were already at around 60,000. A lot of them worked all night until noon yesterday.

Moreover, there was also a "Bayanihan Express Repacking Center" at Camp Aguinaldo joined by elementary, high school and college students, instructors, military authorities and others. The process wasn`t as formal as the works at Ateneo De Manila University but the works for repacking the goods finished in the afternoon without the volunteers having to sacrifice a part of their time doing almost nothing.

(Photos were taken at Camp Aguinaldo: These photos were taken when the repacking of goods were almost done.)

It was indeed gratifying to be able to help in small ways. Knowing that I contributed even a very small part in the whole process of helping, it was a delighting experience. I don`t assume that even one second of my time repacking and working was a waste.

If you aspire to help, you can do so by donating. There are several credible public and private institutions, companies and organizations that accepts donations to be given to those who have been affected by the typhoon in several areas in the Philippines. Thank you to all the countries, organizations, and people who participated and cooperated in donating and helping for the victims of this disastrous tragedy.

Little Animal Friends

Hello there! ^_^

It`s been about 6 hours and I`m glad that I finished the things I had to work on. So, tonight the weather is nicer although there`s a possibility that it will rain hard. My eyeglasses` frame broke a few days ago so I need to endure when the one eyeglass kept popping out of the frame. When I finished my work, I was browsing the internet and saw some videos that I most probably have seen before. I wanted to watch these videos because they really made me smile and laugh a lot. If ever you come across this post Bubbi, I thank you so much for the wonderful videos you uploaded. Her videos featuring her lovely animal babies "Chubbi" and "Domo" influenced me to have a brighter mood even though the weather earlier this morning makes me want to go crazy.

Let me introduce these cute and lovable animals that warmed my heart today.

This is Chubbi, a Pomeranian. This is when she was younger.

This is Domo, a toy Poodle.

I`ve also been searching more videos that features these cute puppies or dogs. They really make me smile a lot. I was watching a bunch of adorable Golden Retriever puppies and I can`t help but feel happy. They`re so lovely! ♡ If you watched the videos above, I hope it also brightened your mood.

For now, I`m just going to browse the web for a little while and I`m off to rest. Thank you for reading this post. I hope you check out my blog again. ☺

A Normal Night during a Summer in 2013

Hello readers!

Today, I can finally surf the web in my computer again. I am hoping that I will be able to control myself from getting addicted in surfing the internet. Before I started writing this post, I was watching some episodes of a Korean show called "On Style" and other videos. I really liked watching the show "On Style" in the television, but whenever I go to "TvN" channel these days, the channel where I watch the show, it`s very blurry so I can hardly watch properly. Thankfully, there`s a Youtube channel which uploads episodes of the show with English Subtitles. The only conflict that I have is when the internet keeps getting disconnected and back to being connected again.

Even though it`s already night time, it still feels humid and hot. I hope the weather gets a little bit colder. It`s late so I`m going to go to sleep in a few minutes.

This day had been a normal one but I am thankful that I was able to get through this day without any terrible harm done. I am also thankful that I was given another day.

Thank you for reading my post. I hope you check out my blog again. Goodnight! ☺
