There are some good or bad memories that seem unforgettable. Good memories usually make me smile while bad memories make me unhappy. A natural response. What I find hard dealing with my memories is the necessity to cut out unnecessary thoughts that come along with past events that seemed unforgettable. Usually these memories are those that were created during heavy emotional stirs. These memories seemed embarked in my mind and heart.
Dealing with unwanted memories is hard. Letting go is my key. Letting memories fade away themselves as the emotions flow with them. Freeing them with constricting emotions. By doing this, I am letting myself heal from the wounds I acquired in the past. This will also allow me to take more steps in life as unwanted thoughts drift away. This will surely take time but what does not? With stillness and faith, it will work accordingly.
Letting go of undesirable memories does not mean I am completely forgetting them. Letting them go just means that they`re still in my head but just like other past events, they should stay as what they should be. The past. Memories. They should not negatively affect the present anymore. They`re simply thoughts.
Patience, faith, love, optimism, perseverance, and willingness will greatly help in the process of freeing constricted memories. By this, I am also helping myself to create better and happier thoughts.
